Privacy statement.

What data I process

If you use the contact or booking form: your name, company name, email address, phone number, website address and the content of your message. You provide this data yourself and it is needed to answer your question.

If you become a client: additionally the data required for invoicing and administration, including address details and VAT number.

When you visit the website: technical data such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, insofar as you have consented to analytics cookies.

Why I process it

To answer your message and arrange a conversation. To perform agreements and invoice for them. To meet legal obligations, including tax retention requirements. And to improve the website based on anonymised usage data.

I do not use your data for automated decision-making and do not sell it to third parties.

How long I keep it

Messages sent through the contact form are kept for a maximum of two years, so I have context if you come back later. Administration and invoices are kept for seven years, as Dutch tax law requires. Analytics data is kept for a maximum of fourteen months.

Who I share data with

Only with parties needed to do the work: the hosting provider for this website, the email provider, and the accounting software invoices are issued from. A processing agreement is in place with each of them.

For delivery work I sometimes engage a small set of external specialists. They only get access to what the assignment requires.

Cookies

This website uses functional cookies required to operate, and analytics cookies to see which pages are used. Analytics cookies are only placed after you have given consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time through your browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can object to processing and request data portability. Send a request to info@creativedigitalmedia.nl; I respond within four weeks.

If you are unhappy with how I handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Security

The website runs over an encrypted connection. Data is stored with providers inside the European Union. Access to client data is limited to me and, where the assignment requires it, to engaged specialists.

This statement may change as the services or the law change. The current version is always on this page, with the date of last change at the top.
